The Penrose Park Velodrome is a public, open access velodrome in the City of St. Louis. Resurfaced in re-enforced concrete in 2019 through a partnership between the City of St. Louis and the St. Louis cycling community, the Penrose Park Velodrome offers a venue for training and racing throughout the year in good weather. Our track, originally constructed in 1962 at 1/5th of a mile, currently measures 322 meters per lap. Minimal facilities, fast riders, open to all.
The velodrome is located in a City of St. Louis park and is open from dawn to dusk.
