For 2023, racing returns in the format you know and love on Thursday nights from at 6pm from May 4th through August 24th. Thursday events for the 2023 season do not require a USA Cycling license. Other events may require a license.
Races for A, B, C (all open to M/W) and Women / femme riders are held each event evening. Generally three races for each category including one longer “feature” race each night.
Registration is available online at 2023 Summer Revolution at the Penrose Park Velodrome Online Registration (bikereg.com) or onsite each Thursday beginning at 5pm.

The Metro St. Louis Velodrome Association maintains a selection rental bikes for riders who want to race and do not own a track bike. We have several junior sized bikes as well as quality bikes in 51, 54, 56, 58, and 61cm sizes. Riders MUST supply their own pedals and helmets. Please inquire in advance at the track for bike availability or at penroseparkvelo@gmail.com

If you are brand new to racing on the track we highly recommend require attending one of our new rider clinics prior to racing. The clinics are free and experienced riders will show attendees the basics of safely navigating the velodrome and what riders need to do to prepare to race. Please arrive early and be prepared to start riding at the start time. Registration is preferred, see the form below. Riders are welcome to attend more than one clinic. A fixed gear bike without brakes is required to participate in a clinic. Bikes may be available for loan. Please use the form below to let us know you’d like to attend a clinic (they’re free) Thanks!
